Only had a quick stopover but the staff are really nice and attentive. Room was clean and breakfast was really nice too. Not a buffet style cooked breakfast but that makes it a lot better as its made to order
I was visiting family and needed a hotel close by. Hotel is very quaint and feels like you're in the countryside. My room was bright & airy, overlooking the garden. Room was very clean, bed comfy, good size bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had good selection of fruit, yoghurt, cereal, pastries & usual cooked breakfast foods. Didn't get chance to try the pool, gym & spa, next time! I stayed an extra night & would definitely recommend.
Lovely staff and service. Breakfast was very well managed and tasty. The free internet was extremely fast (70-80Mbps when I tested), a rarity at most hotels. The only negative was that the sound insulation in the rooms was poor, you could hear everything going on all around you.
A very pleasant place to stay in a lovely location. I was looking for a proper holiday location within close driving distance of Tameside and Manchester, Christie's hospital in order to look after an elderly relative. I looked for a proper hotel with a dining room, a bar proper cooked food and somewhere dog friendly. I could not have found anywhere better. My elderly step-mum needed modified meals; small portions and easy-to-swallow foods. The chef and all the staff bent over backwards to make sure she was catered for - room service was no trouble. Only wish I'd had time to enjoy The Stables. I'll definitely be back.
Had a nice 1 night stay. Staff were great, very happy to help. Rooms are nice and big, although a little tired. Good location for Bury and surrounds. Extra charge for spa/pool facilities, which are good, but limited for families. Lovely dining room and breakfast.
Very nice stay beds are comfortable rooms warm location good and the breakfast was nice would definitely recommend and good price there is also a spa next to it we had to pay extra for it but it was well worth the money the pools are really nice and warm there a cold dip with steam and sauna room with hotubes overall fantastic
Really pleasant stay, very welcoming staff, lovely location, bonus for us it was close to family who live in Bury. Reasonable rates and excellent breakfast Parking was also a bonus plenty of spaces Will be visiting again
Rooms are a little dated but have everything you need. Walls seem a bit thin but trance music from next door at 11pm blasting down the corridor isn't the hotel's fault. Staff are lovely and very accommodating in the restaurant. I know it's separate but the spa next door is great too.
